Everyone knows we're going to die, but nobody belives it because many people think that they don't face with death yet. However, if you must be die in a few monthes or years, how do you accept it? Maybe lots of people don't adopt it. There is no doubt that death attacks everyone. Morrie, who was suffering by Lou Gehrig's disease, accepted his death and he had appreciated that he could have get through his life before he died.

Mitch, who was always busy, addicted in working. He was one of Morrie's students. He saw Morrie in TV by chance although he forgot him before that time. He could know that Morrie had an illness which name is Lou Gehrig's disease and he began to meet him. Morrie was very week because of the disease, he and Mitch started new lessons which about "Life and Death". They had appointments in every Tuesday. Some of his lectures way impressed me. The lectures were about death, emotions, and forgiveness.

Morrie said that if we believe we're going to die, we can prepare to death. According to this process, we can be more faithful on life. Imagine that a little bird is sitting on your shoulder. Ask your bird that today is the day which I have to die. He said that if we concentrate on the real things, we can notice the world fully. Learning how to live give us that how to die.

Detach is important thing. Because everything is impermanent, we don't have to cling to things. If we are caught by anger, we always live in swamp of anger. Then, detach from it. Don't be clinged by anger. He also went through the fear because of the illness but he could throw away it by detaching. Therefore, I think that detaching is kind of controling one's emotion.

Forgiveness. It's very easy thing but in other way, it's very difficult. Keeping vengeance of stubbornness is not good things. People regret about which they didn't forgive before they die. He also had a miserable memory about forgiveness. It brings peace in both of people who forgive and who is forgiven.

However, it's also important that forgive myself. Usually, we carry very massive sin which we didn't forgive. It can be a fetter of heart. It's about to release ourselves from the fetters.

Morrie had to died with the illness which don't have the cure. If a person know that he must die in a short term, they think that "I want to really die." But Morrie didin't do that. He lived as a professor even in the time of death. He was the very man who really understanded about life and death. Consider about your life stopping your work for a while. You may also live your life like Morrie.

Book Report : The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole Aged 13¾

Adrian Mole's puberty seems to be hard. Most of all, a divorce of his parents might be a big worry. Although his parents combined after a few months, during his parents were divided, he had to be in agony. Also, his parents were not wise enough to care of and show interest in him. It must made him more hard. Bothered by bad boys also annoyed him.

Nevertheless, the most important and greatest change of him was the interest of the opposite sex. He always looked a mirror to find how much spots on his face. Perhaps, he wanted to be looked more handsome from Pandora. He read adult magazines, too. How he feel when he experienced the first wet dream? Was it surprised or happy? In other words, I think that he was happy because he felt that he became an adult.
There was one thing that I can't understand. How did he touched Pandora's chest so easily? Although she allowed him to touch her bust, I can't imagine that situation. Is it because I'm Korean which isn't generous about sexual issues? It will be okay in many other west countries.
After Adrian go through the puberty, how much he will change like a adult man? I want to know not only his future state but mine.

Global Warming

Global warming is one of the most important problem that we have to solve. Many people live conviniently from developed technology but they don't worry about the Earth's environment. Thus, environment is getting worse and global warming is getting deeper, too. I'll introduce some ways to prevent it.

First, general people should be concerned and do the best to prevent global warming. To do this, we should take public transportations. When we drive cars, cars emit lots of CO2. However, if we take public transportations, we can reduce large amount of emitted CO2. Not to eat beaf is also method to privent Global warming. Cow is one of the animal that release a number of metane which is green house gas. It cause global warming deeper, if we don't eat lots of beaf, demand of beaf will get lower and farmer raise less cows.

Second, government should effort to releave global warming. They have to punish companies which release too much green house gas like CO2. There are many agreement that each country won't emit green house gas over the provision. They also develop new green energy which don't discharge substance that can be reason to increase grobal warming. There are some green energy such as solar power, hydraulic power and wind velocity.

Four season is vanishing slowly and there are only summer and winter. Summer is extremly hot and winter is utmostly cold. So, to prove this problem, both of we and our government should endeavor. I wish that I can see the healthy earth which isn't suffered because of human.

Summary

These days, building green is regarded to new way which is environmentally friendly. There are the exemples of eco-friendly buildings such as making windows bigger, making garden on the rooftop, and using rainwater and green materials.

Commment

Building green is awesome so that it has to be adppted in lots of buildings. However, building green uwually requires a number of money so only few buildings can be constructed ecofriendly. Although it cost lots of meney, it's more beneficial than waist money to recover enviornment after pollute it. Government should support environmental corporations and make cities more green and beautiful.

School Uniform

When you walk on the street, you can see a number of students wearing thier school uniforms.
However, some of them like wearing school uniform but others are dislike it. I agree with wearing a school uniform which is economical and make us feel that we are our school's students. Wearing school uniform has much benefits than don't wearing them.
First, like former reasons, wearing school uniform is economical than wearing casual clothes in schools. Some people think that school uniforms are expensive so that a few students cannot afford ot buy them. However, students in middle school and high school are usually interest in appearence. Of couse, they also interest in wearing pretty clothes. It cause that students want to buy lot of new clothes and if schools allow wewaring free clothes in school, some students are stressed because they can't buy nice clothes.
Second, school uniform makes us behave like students. Peaple know that which uniform is which school's uniform so that student's usually don't behave badly. If students commit bad happening out of schools with wearing their school uniform, people can report it to their schools. It can prevent their offenses.
Do you want to be in agony in every morning with saying "What should I wear today?" Wearing school uniform remove this problem. In addition, students can feel belonging in their school and do like students. It is more bebeficial than don't wearing school uniforms, so I beilive wearing school uniform is necessary.
